Holi in the Desert
Experience Holi in the desert with us! Enhance your festive experience by celebrating the Holi festival of colour in a rich and colourful way. We will take you to Jaisalmer Fort and local temples for an unforgettable playing with colour and lunch. Then take the jeep to the desert and a camel ride to the dunes to sleep under the stars, before returning back to Jaisalmer the next morning. Jaisalmer Desert Festival
Each February Jaisalmer hosts the infamous Jaisalmer Desert Festival - Maru Mahotsav. The sands of the Thar shine with the colours of the festival, and echo with the sounds of its music. Enjoy vibrant puppet shows, folk music and dance, camel races, camel polo matches and much more. This event takes place across a number of days and is not to be missed if you are in Jaisalmer during this time. New Year in the Desert
Welcome in the New Year, in the Thar desert with us! Our unforgettable experience in the golden sand dunes will include a pleasant jeep ride, camel safari and watching the beautiful desert sunset as you say goodbye to the passing year. Diwali in the Desert
Experience Diwali in the desert - celebrate the Hindu festival of light with a first-hand experience of the local culture and traditions. Join in a small puja (ceremony) and light some diyas (earthen candles), then enjoy the fireworks. After dinner you have the option to stay in the village and then take a camel ride the following morning before heading back to Jaisalmer.
