Itinerary Overview
This full day safari itinerary begins with pick up from your hotel and jeep transport to the golden sand dunes of the Thar Desert. On the way, you will stop at the abandoned Kuldhara village, or the majestic Khaba Fort and a serene desert oasis.
After the journey, you will enjoy a fresh lunch prepared under the shade of a tree, allowing you to relax and rest before the highlight of the day - a one and a half hour camel ride through the desert, taking in the breathtaking views of the desert landscape. Watch the sun set over the horizon and capture the beauty of the evening sky.
Following the camel ride, enjoy refreshing drinks and snacks whilst our guides prepare a healthy vegetarian dinner over an open fire. Afterwards, feast on your cooked meal surrounded by the stunning desert landscape. At the end of the day, we will transfer you back to your starting point, having enjoyed a brief overview of the Thar Desert.

Kuldhara Village and Khaba Fort date back to the 13th Century and were once prosperous settlements inhabited by Paliwal Brahmins. The natural Desert Oasis has water year round and serves as an important source of fresh water for local people and animals.
Khuri Dunes and the Desert Sunset
Have time to explore the beautiful Khuri Dunes as you ride, walk, relax and eat amongst the golden sands. Experience a stunning desert sunset and watch the stars begin to emerge - one of the many highlights!
Camel Ride
Embark on a magical 90minute camel ride on one of our trusty camels. Ride until the sun begins to set in the Thar dunes. (One camel per person).
Food and Drink
Enjoy lunch under the shade of a tree and a healthy vegetarian dinner cooked over an open fire. Soft drinks and fruit snacks provided to keep you hydrated. Alcoholic drinks available at additional cost.
